We pay the medical bills of people in Nigeria and Uganda who cannot afford treatment, then we tell you the name of the person your money treated. A full treatment costs about £3.

What we do
Most people in the communities we serve live on a pound or two a day. When somebody gets malaria, the treatment might cost three pounds. That is not a small bill. That is this week's food for the rest of the family. So the decision is not whether a parent loves their child. It is which child they fail. We exist so nobody has to do that arithmetic.
We register people
Our teams run stands in the community. Anyone can walk up, register, and receive a six-digit DOGO ID that entitles them to free treatment.
Our programmesPartner clinics treat them
They take that number to one of our 15 partner facilities. Qualified doctors and nurses treat them. No money changes hands.
Where we workYou settle the bill, and meet them
A human checks every itemised bill, your donation pays it, and you are told the first name, age and town of the person you treated.
The full process
You find out exactly who you helped
Most giving disappears into an aggregate. You donate, and later you are told your money helped a number of people somewhere. We think that is a large part of why people stop giving.
So we built the charity the other way round. You do not fund a programme, you fund a person. Afterwards you see their first name, their age, their town, and an itemised breakdown of what your donation actually bought: the consultation, the tests, the tablets.

Care delivered by local clinics that already exist
We are not building hospitals. The clinics are there. The doctors are there. The patients are already walking past the door. The only thing missing has ever been somebody to settle the bill.
That is why the model copies. We can open in a new country in under six weeks, because the ID system, the clinic app, the checking and the matching were built to be lifted rather than rebuilt.
